I've had this blog for over a year now. because ive archived all my previous articles, it doesnt really seem like it.. i decided i want to change the way i use this blog, and i changed it to reflect my personal tastes beyond fashion
originally this blog's purpose was for me to write about my feelings on gyaru. writing has always been my favorite way to clear my mind, so thats what i used this blog for. it was mostly me getting things, like pending projects or frustrations toward other's actions, off of my chest. a dumping ground for things out of my control that i wanted to stop thinking about. i didnt really want to share that negativity, so i kept my blog and articles pretty private
lately, ive been feeling more and more like using social media generally feels suffocating. connecting with people online seems like it should be a pretty neutral thing with the potential to create equal ammounts of negativity and positivity, but i feel like current social media spreads the bad more than the good.
i wanted to isolate myself from things that (are designed to) make me feel bad, but not the features of social media that i enjoy, like sharing pictures and moments. because of that, i decided i wanted to rework my blog and turn it into a more positive space that could host the pictures and ideas i would normally like to share on instagram or twitter.
so on this blog i will be sharing photos of my gyaru makeups, my outfits, and also talk about the nice moment i share with my friends, but ill probably share things i like beyond gyaru, and anything i feel like.
